Science is a Unifying Force

The ASBMR Annual Meeting is the world’s largest and most diverse meeting in the bone, mineral and musculoskeletal research field, attracting more than 2,500 attendees from more than 40 countries, including clinicians and researchers, representing all career levels and specializing in a variety of disciplines.

Upon returning home from the meeting, attendees will be able to discuss with confidence the most current and significant advances in biomedical and clinical research and develop and apply new and enhanced strategies for treatment and care of patients.

“The ASBMR is more than just a platform for sharing cutting-edge research and innovation in bone and mineral research; it's a hub for cherished connections and professional growth. These meetings encapsulate the spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing that defines ASBMR.Flavia Matovu Kiweewa, MBChB, MSc, PhD, Makerere University:

Highlights of the Meeting

ASBMR Pre-Meeting Symposium

Each year, these symposia on specific topics bring together thought leaders for in-depth discussions. Hosted one day prior to the ASBMR 2026 Annual Meeting, Biological Control of Bone Quality: Mechanisms and Therapies will take place on October 8, 2026. Its goal is to advance the scientific understanding of the biological, mechanical, and material mechanisms that determine bone quality. It will also aim to accelerate translation of bone quality research into improved diagnostic, predictive, and therapeutic strategies for skeletal fragility.
