The ASBMR Annual Meeting is the world’s largest and most diverse meeting in the bone, mineral and musculoskeletal research field, attracting more than 2,500 attendees from more than 40 countries, including clinicians and researchers, representing all career levels and specializing in a variety of disciplines.

ASBMR Pre-Meeting Symposium
Each year, these symposia on specific topics bring together thought leaders for in-depth discussions. Hosted one day prior to the ASBMR 2026 Annual Meeting, Biological Control of Bone Quality: Mechanisms and Therapies will take place on October 8, 2026. Its goal is to advance the scientific understanding of the biological, mechanical, and material mechanisms that determine bone quality. It will also aim to accelerate translation of bone quality research into improved diagnostic, predictive, and therapeutic strategies for skeletal fragility.

ASBMR/RBDA Symposium
The goal of the 2026 ASBMR Pre-Meeting Symposium on Biological Control of Bone Quality: Mechanisms and Therapies is to advance the scientific understanding of the biological, mechanical, and material mechanisms that determine bone quality. It will also aim to accelerate translation of bone quality research into improved diagnostic, predictive, and therapeutic strategies for skeletal fragility. The ASBMR/RBDA 2026 Symposium will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, one day prior the 2026 Annual Meeting, at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Education Program
The ASBMR Annual Meeting boasts nearly 100 education sessions and 1,000 poster presentations in four information-filled days. The full education program and schedule will be available this spring.
- Meet-the-Professor sessions provide an opportunity to interact with experts in an intimate setting and discuss specific clinical and research topics.
- The Annual Meeting features networking and social events open exclusively to young investigators and ASBMR offers travel grants and awards to students/trainees.
- Aside from the science, the ASBMR Annual Meeting is the best place to mingle face-to-face with peers from all over the world! Networking receptions occur daily and the ASBMR Networking Lounge is open during Discovery Hall hours.
